Extremely proud of our former Wildcat Nathan Thomas who was recently signed by the Brazilian professional team Itabom/Bauru.

I am so proud to announce some outstanding news about a former Wildcat basketball player & 2005 graduate of Wilson Central High School. Nathan Thomas was recently signed to play professional basketball overseas with Team Itabom/Bauru in Brazil. We will keep you up to date on his progress. Nathan is one of the hardest working young men to ever come through Wilson Central and as well as being a devoted Christian he has character unmatched by anyone I have ever coached. Nathan is truly the type of role model you wish your kids to take after in life. The 6ft ‘ 6inch , 220lb Thomas helped lead Wilson Central to back to back state tournament appearances in 2003-2004 and 2004-2005 and starred for four years at Auburn-Montgomery University from 2005-2009. He is the first ever professional men’s basketball player from Wilson Central.
